Hi Yogyakarta! (Part II)

Well, drinking Jamu, selling Es Dawet Ayu, visiting Bakpia home industry, singing together with street singer (and earn some money lol), and taking lots of photos is already on the list. no i'm just joking, everything wasn't on my list except taking photos. these things is the things which lighten up my trip!

Hi Yogyakarta! (Part I)

I never been in Yogyakarta for a holiday before. the last time was in 2005 or so, and doing nothing but staying in a hotel. as ususal, trip was fun. i have some kind like things to do when we go on a holiday which is
- try to eat locals food
- try to mingle with locals
- try to act as a locals
- don't throw any trash on a street
- spend some times to see around with your eyes and your heart

so, here we go!

this place called punthuk setumbu. you can see Borobudur temple from this place. i was sitting and enjoying hot tea while everyone waiting for the sunrise. there is no sunrise anyway, it's rainy season, i think i shouldn't expect too much. but i was wrong! even if there is no sunrise, the view was amazing! Borobudur and surround area was covered with a white mist, and you could see some high trees and Borobudur's top peeping from it. we met an old man who clean up the area while every tourist tried to throw trash here and there. there's a moment right before we go, i sit with him and he sang an old javanese song, he said to me that this is his home, he comes here every morning to clean it, looking for some greens for his small farm, to enjoy the view and sing. the sing part was called "nembang" in javanese, i don't even know what he was singing but sound really beautiful.

and we go like 3 hours driving to a virgin beach called Nglambor. Guys from Bintang Nglambor Snorkling took us to go underwater. it was a really nice experience to have!

Holiday at Batu

yes. i spend my holiday with friends from college. we stay at Deny's place. we had a lot of fun. eventho we just stay for two nights but it's enough.

i swear i'll burn Vio's shirt if i see he wears it again. it's ugly and looks like a table cloth.

we need to walk about a mile to reach the waterfall. they look tired :p

Creepy Little Frog

okay, now the next. i accompany my mom at UNESA today. she have a shooting schedule with friends from humalang. idk, maybe it's for a movie competition or something. so, short story, i wait in the car while she acts. and then. tuk. there's a frog fall from the sky and posing right on my face .-.

see? what a creepy frog.

The Mirror Never Lies

I've prepared a post with some of my pictures - my reflections in the mirror, which was really fun for me. i notice that i love staring my reflection in the mirror since i was a kid. i think it's really a girl things, an important item, girls couldn't get over it. believe me.

thank God i have no Spectrophobia, Catoptrophobia, Eisoptrophobia, or something like that. i just get panic when i see a big-red-pimples on my face. HAHA! so here's my activities with mirrors.

i have one pict of me, just wake up and stared at the mirror. but i would rather share anything except my pictures after i woke up. can't tell how it's in a mess. haha. so, this is after bath :D

i guess this is the most showing off post about photographs of myself. i hope it's not going to annoy you dear my readers. well, now you know how we thank God for the mirror right? i can't lead a day without mirror. :D

Camping With Friends

liburan kali ini asyik banget! aku dan tujuh orang temanku pergi camping ke daerah cilengkrang, di salah satu kabupaten dikota bandung... maaf kalau salah tulis, aku tidak begitu hafal nama daerahnya... :)

perjalanan diawali dengan masuk ke daerah celengkrang menggunakan angkot yang kita sewa untuk berdelapan. setelah itu, kita menyusuri jalan setapak, batu-batu, menyebrangi sungai beberapa kali, dan melewati banyak tanjakan yang tidak terlalu berbahaya.


well, meskipun cuma semalem dan cuaca yang tidak begitu bagus, kita cukup bersenang-senang dan bernarsis ria disana... kita kemarin camping di pos II, sebenarnya mau naik, berhubung waktu udah mendekati jam lima sore, maka kita memasang tenda dan memotong kayu bakar.

anak-anak sempat mandi di air terjun (orang bandung menyebutnya dengan curug), kecuali aku karena memang dari awal aku sudah berniat untuk tidak mandi. hanya cuci muka saja.

cuaca yang tidak bersahabat membuat tenda kami beberapa kali basah karena hujan, miring karena angin, kayu bakar menjadi semakin basah, dan yang terparah, ketika kami akan pulang, hujan angin datang dan membuat air sungai meluap dan berarus cukup deras.

akhirnya, dengan kondisi yang masih gerimis, kita mengemasi barang dan menurunkan tenda. kita memulai perjalanan untuk pulang. melihat kkondisi jalan yang tertutup aliran air, kami memutuskan untuk memutari lereng bukit. jalannya dari tanah liat basah yang licin. sedikit membuatku ngeri karena jalan yang sempit dan lereng yang cukup curam menyerupai jurang. dari kami berdelapan, tidak ada seorang pun yang tidak jatuh terpeleset. semua mendapatkan bercak coklat dicelana bagian belakang. hahaha! sangat lucu melihat bagaimana kami jatuh. ada yang jatuh lalu terus mengalir seperti main perosotan. ada yang jatuh dengan wajah mencium tanah. ada yang jatuh, mencoba berdiri, tetapi jatuh lagi. kocak sekali!
aku sendiri beberapa kali jatuh. tanganku sempat penuh duri ketika jatuh karena menjadi tumpuan, sayang aku tidak melihat, yang menjadi pijakanku adalah tanaman berduri. kakiku juga banyak lecet karena terjatuh. beberapa dari kami juga mengalami gatal-gatal dikaki, mungkin karena hewan.

tapi semua begiiituuuuuu menyenangkan!
lain kali harus coba lagi nih... :)
