An Old House

When i was a kid, mommy took me and my brother to a village called Wlingi. her cousin's place. the village is quite and calm. the food is really good, one of my favorite is bubur balung (a porridge served with chicken's bones and veggies and chicken broth), my aunt said that the bones is a leftover from a traditional chicken soup. so they sell chicken soup at night and bubur balung in the next morning. and the scenery and the breeze and the traditional kitchen and smell of the smoke from the traditional stove, ahh... i love it all.

yesterday, my family and i went to Wlingi again and stayed for a night. we planned to visit my mom's another cousin (how many cousins she have actually? lol). my aunt's house is kinda old. and big. she have a basketball court and big backyard. like seriously, it's not a parking space with a basketball ring, it's really a basketball court. i wonder how much money they need to spend to have house like that. lol. the unique things is, she have a traditional kitchen. the wall made from gedhek (it's a wall made from bamboo) and the stove made from... i don't remember what but it made from mud. yes mud! and shaped like stove and dried and then you cook use woods. it's more like fire pit with mud. lol. i like it, it makes the foods smells better.

isn't it beautiful?

the key looks really old. i wonder how old...

you can see the flooring, the bed, the closet on the wall, it's all seems so old and beauty...
